In June and July, we are organising a number of activities within Casco and also outside of it by working in affinity with various initiatives in Utrecht! 
 
ENTANGLEMENT~URBAN TRAJECTORIES 
21-23 June 
 
Navigate the city beyond the normative pathways, become entangled with others, and find out how those entanglements make us who we are and foster how we live together. Developed with Aorta Centre for Architecture and Vrede van Utrecht  
 
Fri 21 15:00-16:00 at Aorta (Achter de Dom 14) 
Lectures by urban geographer Jan van Duppen (founding researcher of 'Urban Trajectories') and architect Stefan Bendiks (author of 'Cycle Infrastructure') 
 
Fri 21 16:30-17:15 at Casco (Nieuwekade 213-215) 
Presentations of Entanglement by co-curator Sanne Oorthuizen (Casco) and graphic designer Olya Troitskaya, HKU students, artist Asia Komarova and others. Followed by cycling from Casco to Het Gebouw and De Halte in Leidsche Rijn. 
 
Sat 22 15:00-17:00, 'Publieke dialoog over sociaal kapitaal' 
A public debate on social capital will be help after “sailing together” (boat meetings) with co-housing initiatives. Initiated by artists Bart Stuart & Klaar van der Lippe and with contributions by Jan van Duppen and several co-housing initiatives. 
 
Sat-Sun 22-23, all day, 'Yellow Marking' 
Interventions in the routes between Leidsche Rijn and Utrecht city centre. With directions by artist Annette Krauss in collaboration with designer Yejin Cho.

CONVERSATION MARKET 
Sat 6 July, 11:00-17:00, Hoog Catherijne Shopping Mall (Godebaldkwartier 57, Utrecht) 
 
The economy is something we do, not just something that does things to us. We call these "community economies". Together let’s explore various alternative “business” models in a marketplace where conversations, not money, are exchanged. Featuring In de Ruimte, De Rooie Rat, Repair Café, het Ruilrestaurant, Stichting Solidair, De Achtertuin and more. Developed with Kritische Studenten Utrecht as part of our long-term collaborative project (Un)usual Business.  
 
Spatial concept by artist Aimée Zito Lema and designer leRyan. In partnership with Call of the Mall. Followed by launch of shop, drinks and karaoke at Casco Storefront (Voorstraat 88), 20:00 to midnight. 
 
'Zitten is een Werkwoord – Rietveld for Community Economies' 
Sat 29 June, 10:30-18:00, at and in partnership with Fort Luna (Oude Liesbosweg 40, Utrecht)  
Prior to the Conversation Market, artist Aimée Zito Lema is holding a DIY workshop for making Rieveld’s famous crate chair. The chairs will be used for the Conversation Market and later shared by the participants.Please R.S.V.P Ying Que via ying@cascoprojects.org
